Easter and Cousins

We are so thankful for the sacrifices that were made for us. We are also thankful that our family is close enough to be able to spend this special time together. Cousin time is precious, and so very fun!

4/29/06- Initial application submitted to Holt
5/8/06- Received acceptance letter of initial application- let the paperchasing begin!
5/14/06- Consent for criminal records check submitted
5/15/06- Employment verification forms submitted, photo of living room as requested by Holt
5/29/06- I 600-A application submitted to USCIS (US Citizenship and Immigration Services)
6/9/06- Medical exams complete
6/16/06- PIP (Parents in Process) class complete
6/19/06-Financial statement complete
6/30/06- all 4 personal references returned to Holt
7/14/06- Personal Data Information complete and submitted to Holt
7/17/06- Received acceptance letter of second application- ready to begin homestudy!
7/26/06- First Homestudy visit
8/16/06- Second Homestudy visit
9/22/06- Homestudy to Korea!!
9/27/06- Fingerprinting at USCIS
10/3/06- I 600-A approval
8/14/07 REFERRAL CALL!!!
8/20/07-Acceptance Papers returned to Holt
8/22/07- Legals
8/27/07- I-600 form submitted to USCIS
9/21/07- EP
11/14/07- I-600 approval/I-171 issued
11/21/07- I-171 sent to Seoul
12/3/07- Kai's Exit Interview
12/4/07- VISA issued
12/20/07- Travel Call
12/26/07- Family Day!!
1/16/08-First post-placement home visit
4/2/08- Second post-placement home visit
6/20/08- Third (and final) post-placement home visit
7/10/08- Consent to Adopt issued
7/23/08- Adoption paperwork signed
8/25/08- Notified paperwork complete and sent to court
9/16/08- FINALIZATION!! Process complete!
